Annapath, Inc. is looking for a Sales Leader for the Mid-Atlantic area

Annapath provides Anatomic and Clinical Pathology services in the Mid-Atlantic area with locations in Bowie, MD and Annandale, VA.   We offer friendly and courteous laboratory professionals who provide personal and timely services.

At Annapath, we know that every specimen is important to both the clinician and the patient.

The right person for this role will be a proven sales leader who understands how to bridge the gap between a Sales Leader and a Relationship Manager.  The role requires a highly organized person who demonstrates humility as well as a sense of humor, and who is not solely motivated by the sale but can also envision the larger picture – growing a business that strives to offer the best in client service and is widely recognized as a leader in the industry.

Responsibilities include:

  • Generating at least 1 million in new sales per year while maintaining clients and minimizing attrition
  • Identifying, developing, and implementing a plan that will increase the company’s exposure and reputation in the market by attending industry trade shows and conferences
  • Independently developing and maintaining a book of business and a consistent pipeline of prospects
  • Demonstrating a deep understanding of the industry including regulation and other innovative changes occurring in the marketplace, and utilizing this knowledge to advise management


  • 10+ years’ experience specifically in Clinical and Anatomic pathology in the Mid-Atlantic area with a proven track record and current book of business worth $5 million or more
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Highly proficient in Excel and Word
  • Regular travel to clients and prospects sites
  • Remote working available in the Mid-Atlantic area with the ability to travel to the Bowie, Maryland office on a weekly basis
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences or Business related field a plus

Successful sales leader can earn in excess of $200,000 per year with no cap on sales commissions
